SHEDSAFE
Sidach is proud to be a SHEDSAFE accredited manufacturer. SHEDSAFE is an accreditation scheme managed by the Australian Steel Institute, designed to assist shed buyers in making an informed purchase decision.
Being a SHEDSAFE member means Sidach adheres to the Building Code of Australia's design standards, and Sidach resellers have undergone SHEDSAFE training and submit to regular reviews.
SHEDSAFE accreditation cannot be purchased it has to be earned.
As a shed buyer with Sidach it's your guarantee that:
- Sidach has undergone a Review by an independent 3rd party
This means that, samples of the designs and engineering (plans and structural calculations) used by Sidach have been subjected to a design check and documentation review process undertaken by an independent 3rd party structural engineer and these have met the ShedSafe accreditation criteria. - Sidach has Assured their Compliance
This means that, the Shed Manufacturer has signed and submitted documentation confirming that all of their shed designs are in accordance with the Australian Steel Institute Design Guide Portal Frame Sheds and Garages (2009). - Sidach will recommend a Shed Design suitable for your site location and use
This means that Sidach reseller has undertaken training and will recommend a shed with a design suitable for your specific site and building use. - Sidach will consider Wind Loads
This means that Sidach has undertaken training to determine the correct application of Wind Loads for your site, based on the information supplied.
Steel Shed Group
Sidach is proud to be a member of the Australian Steel Institute's Steel Shed Group, a representative group for the shed industry to:
- ensure that buildings comply with all relevant Australian standards
- improve credibility and sustainability for the steel shed industry
- have shed designs / documentation that conform to local government requirements
Membership consists of a broad range of shed manufacturers, roll forming companies and industry suppliers.
